Job Description

As a field sales executive for Bistrokart Technology, your primary role is to drive B2B revenue by supplying fresh groceries and kitchen essentials directly to the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) sector, including cloud kitchens, dhabas, and food stalls. 

Core Roles and Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building & Management:
  • Strategic Networking: Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with chefs, unit heads, and procurement managers in the HORECA industry.
  • Trust Establishment: Conduct regular in-person visits (beats) to 80–140 accounts to ensure brand presence and address service issues promptly.
  • Customer Retention: Manage a portfolio of existing clients, focusing on high satisfaction to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
  • Providing Appropriate Solutions:
  • Client Needs Assessment: Analyze individual client requirements based on kitchen size, cuisine type, and daily consumption patterns to provide tailored grocery solutions.
  • Pain Point Resolution: Use Bistrokart's next-day delivery and fresh ingredient guarantees to solve procurement hassles for busy cloud kitchens and restaurants.
  • Technical Guidance: Educate clients on how to use the Bistrokart platform for streamlined ordering and inventory management.
  • Suggesting Products & Increasing Sales:
  • Basket Expansion: Upsell and cross-sell from a catalogue of over 200 items, including food packaging, dairy, and specialized groceries.
  • Product Demonstrations: Showcase new launches or high-quality samples to convince chefs of product value and freshness.
  • Promotional Activation: Communicate current discounts, seasonal offers, and bulk pricing models to increase average order values.
  • Sales Operations & Strategy:
  • Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new HORECA opportunities through door-to-door visits and market research.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue and margin targets within your assigned territory.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing and local market trends to provide feedback to the management team for strategy adjustments. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer Acquisition: Number of new outlets successfully onboarded each month.
  • Order Frequency: Percentage of active customers placing regular daily or weekly orders.
  • Basket Size: Average revenue generated per customer visit.
