Sales Manager - B2B Cosmetics Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to manage B2B leads, build client relationships, and generate new business opportunities. Reporting to the Business Development Head, you will focus on converting leads into long-term contracts for our cosmetics manufacturing services, targeting brands, retailers, and exporters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify B2B leads from platforms like Alibaba, Trade India, LinkedIn, and industry events.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline: from lead nurturing to contract closure, achieving monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
  • Conduct client meetings, product demos, and negotiations to secure manufacturing and private labeling deals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cosmetics brands, distributors, and exporters in India and international markets.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality teams to customize solutions and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Bigin or similar) for lead tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, webinars, and B2B networking events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in cosmetics, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and closing deals (share your targets achieved).
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetics industry regulations (ISO, GMP, FDA, export norms).
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales tools; familiarity with WordPress/SEO for lead gen is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; Urdu a bonus for regional outreach.
  • Ability to travel within India (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, etc.) and occasionally internationally.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with a hunter's mindset for new business.
