Senior Billing Engineer

Prepare accurate quantity take-off (QTO) from drawings (GFC, tender, AFC).

Verify site measurements with joint measurement sheets (JMS).

Ensure BOQ compliance and highlight deviations.

Maintain daily/weekly measurement records from subcontractors and site engineers.

Check reinforcement measurements as per bar bending schedule (BBS).

Validate bills based on IS codes, construction drawings, and contract conditions.

Prepare Running Account Bills (RA Bills) as per contract terms.

Prepare MB (Measurement Book), abstract sheets, and supporting documents.

Coordinate with client/PMC for bill verification & approvals.

Track bill certification status and ensure timely submission.

Ensure all extras, additional items, and variations are billed properly.

Prepare final bill including reconciliation, extra items & deductions.

Prepare subcontractor RA bills based on work orders.

Verify rate analysis, productivity, labour reports, and site measurements.

Ensure deductions for advances, recoveries, penalties, retention, etc.

Monitor subcontractor performance and billing cycle.

Maintain subcontractor bill register and reconciliation.

Prepare rate analysis for new items, non-BOQ items, and material change proposals.

Assist in budgeting and cost planning for civil works.

Perform cost comparison between budgeted vs actual quantities.

Support procurement team with material requirement & cost estimation.

Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.

Strong in AUTO QTO, Excel, MS Project, measurement techniques.

Knowledge of IS codes and standard engineering practices.

Expertise in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and contract understanding.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
