Senior Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced senior purchase executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, cost control, and timely availability of materials. The candidate should have strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and experience in handling bulk purchases while ensuring quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor the purchase of raw materials, furniture products, fittings, fabrics, hardware, and accessories
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency
• Ensure timely procurement as per production/showroom/project requirements
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement records
• Coordinate with stores, production, sales, accounts, and logistics teams
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability
• Ensure material quality as per company standards and resolve any quality or quantity issues
• Track market trends, price fluctuations, and alternate sourcing options
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GST norms, and documentation
• Maintain MIS reports related to purchases, vendor performance, and cost analysis
• Support audits and management reviews related to procurement
