Job Description

The Travel Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling travel-related products and services, including flights, hotels, holiday packages, travel insurance, and transportation. The role requires building strong relationships with clients, understanding their travel needs, and providing tailored travel solutions to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Handle inquiries from clients, prepare quotations, and follow up to close sales.
  • Advise clients on travel destinations, products, and services based on their preferences and budget.
  • Prepare customized travel itineraries, tour packages, and travel documentation.
  • Negotiate rates with airlines, hotels, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Provide after-sales support and handle customer feedback or complaints professionally.
  • Stay updated on travel industry trends, promotions, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in travel sales or a similar role (experience in tour operations or corporate travel preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
