Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day activities at the construction site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role coordinates workers, subcontractors, materials, and site documentation while enforcing all health and safety regulations.Key responsibilitiesPlan, organize, and supervise daily site activities to achieve project schedule and milestones.Coordinate and supervise site workforce, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient use of labour, materials, and equipment.Interpret and implement drawings, specifications, and method statements, raising technical queries where required.Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and company standards.Conduct regular site inspections to identify and eliminate safety hazards and ensure strict adherence to health and safety rules.Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce use of PPE and safe work practices at all times.Track progress against the work program, prepare and submit daily site reports, logs, and photographs.Verify measurements and quantities of work executed for billing and certification purposes.Manage material requisitions, deliveries, storage, and usage to prevent shortages, damage, or wastage.Check and maintain site housekeeping, access control, and security of materials, tools, and equipment.Liaise with Project Manager/Engineer, clients, consultants, and subcontractors for site coordination and issue resolution.Record and report site issues, delays, variations, and incidents, and assist in implementing corrective actions.Support testing, inspections, and handover activities, including punch‑list preparation and close‑out.
