Job Title: Skill Development Officer (SDO)

Location: On-site – Gurugram

Organization: The Medicity (Medical Training Institute)

Industry: Medical Education & Clinical Skills Training

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: INR 18,000 – 35,000 (In-hand, based on skills and experience)

The Medicity is a medical education and training institute that provides hands-on clinical and laparoscopic training. We work closely with experienced doctors to help medical professionals improve their practical skills through structured training programs.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Skill Development Officer (SDO) who can support doctors during laparoscopic training programs. The role involves assisting doctors, preparing training labs, and helping participants during hands-on practice.This position is suitable for candidates from nursing, OT technician, or medical backgrounds who are willing to learn and grow in a training environment.


Key Responsibilities

Assist doctors during laparoscopic and clinical skills training sessions

  • Set up and arrange laparoscopic instruments and training equipment
  • Help trainees during practice sessions under doctor guidance
  • Ensure OT / training lab cleanliness before, during, and after sessions
  • Follow proper OT and lab hygiene standards at all times
  • Handle biomedical waste segregation and disposal as per standard guidelines
  • Ensure instruments and work areas are maintained safely and hygienically
  • Coordinate with internal staff for smooth conduct of training programs
  • Provide on-ground support during workshops and training activities
  • Learn new procedures and techniques related to laparoscopic training


Eligibility & Qualifications

Qualification in Nursing, OT Technician, or Allied Medical / Paramedical field preferred

  • Basic knowledge of operation theatre procedures or laparoscopy is an advantage
  • Freshers with relevant qualification and willingness to learn can apply
  • Candidates from medical background with interest in skill development are welcome
  • Skills RequiredBasic English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and support doctors and trainees
  • Good coordination and teamwork skills
  • Professional and responsible attitude
