Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:1. Site Identification & Acquisition 📍Identify suitable locations for telecom towers as per RF (Radio Frequency) planning.
- Coordinate with RF planning teams for site feasibility.
- Conduct site surveys and technical evaluations.
- Finalize landlords/vendors for site acquisition.
- 2. Landlord & Stakeholder Management 🤝Negotiate commercial terms with property owners.
- Maintain strong relationships with landlords and local authorities.
- Handle dispute resolution related to site agreements.
- Coordinate with government bodies and municipalities.
- 3. Documentation & Legal Compliance 📄Ensure proper lease agreements and legal documentation.
- Coordinate with legal team for contract vetting.
- Ensure compliance with local telecom regulations and EMF norms.
- Track permissions like municipal approvals, SACFA clearance, etc.
- 4. Team Management 👥Lead site acquisition managers and field teams.
- Monitor team performance and KPIs.
- Provide training and guidance.
- Allocate acquisition targets.
- 5. Project Coordination 📊Coordinate with deployment, operations and project teams.
- Ensure sites are delivered within timelines.
- Track rollout progress and resolve bottlenecks.
- 6. Vendor Management 🏢Manage acquisition vendors and agencies.
- Evaluate vendor performance.
- Control acquisition costs and budgets.
- 7. Reporting & MIS 📈Prepare acquisition progress reports.
- Track site pipeline and approvals.
- Present status to senior leadership.
- Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (Engineering / Telecom / Electronics / Civil / Management preferred)
- MBA preferred (optional)
- Certification in project management is an advantage.
- Experience Required:Typically 8–15 years in telecom site acquisition or infrastructure rollout.
- Experience in telecom companies like Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea, Indus Towers, American Tower Corporation is preferred.
