Job Title: Steward / Captain (F&B Service)Department: Operations – Food & Beverage

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Outlet Manager

Job SummaryThe Steward / Captain is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining hygiene and service standards, and supporting team coordination to enhance guest satisfaction.

• Key ResponsibilitiesService & Guest HandlingGreet and welcome guests courteously and ensure a positive dining experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service
• Serve food and beverages as per company service standards
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and escalate when required
• Operations & Floor ManagementMaintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables, service areas, cutlery, and equipment
• Ensure proper table setup before service and clearing after use
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth service flow
• Assist in billing, payment collection, and closing procedures
• Team Supervision (Captain Role)Supervise stewards and allocate service sections
• Ensure staff grooming, punctuality, and discipline
• Train and guide new stewards on service SOPs
• Monitor service quality and staff performance during shifts
• Compliance & StandardsFollow hygiene, safety, and company SOPs at all times
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace policies
• Maintain service efficiency during peak hours
