Inviting applications for the role of Vice President - ICM Lead, HMS

We are looking for a candidate who can drive company level initiatives cutting across verticals, lines of business and geographies – focusing on commercial model transformation, a strategic program at CEO level with intent to change the commercial DNA of the organisation, thus driving positive AOI impact. The purpose of this role is to strategize, plan, and execute the commercial transformation initiative, driving collaboration and influence on sales, finance, operations, service lines and solutions leaders.

Account Excellence – who are we?

Account excellence team, curated recently by combining multiple teams in last 12 months, with the aim to drive all strategic initiatives related to Genpact’s short to medium term growth. With a transformation approach and an advisory mindset, this team is an amalgamation of 5 strong CoEs (Commercial Model Transformation, Portfolio Strategy, Account Planning, Strategic renewals, and Sales Transformation) driven by of small team of ~14 high-performance individuals from consulting, finance, and transformation backgrounds, and delivering business growth for Genpact as a trusted partner.

Why does this job exist & how does the role add value?

The Commercial Transformation Program exists to fundamentally reshape the way Genpact approaches and conducts its business, specifically in the realm of commercializing deals using consumption-based and outcome-based pricing structures. The role of this program is to bring about a significant transformation in Genpact's DNA, emphasizing a shift towards more innovative and customer-centric commercial models. This is a strategic program for Genpact, driven under direct supervision of Genpact’s sales leader, and part of medium-term growth plan of the organization.

This team collaborates with cross-functional teams and leaders to devised commercial constructs in deals/ renewals/ existing accounts, build case studies, share best practices, drive marketing, and enables governance & reporting. This program equips the sales & commercial teams with the tools, knowledge, and frameworks needed to structure and negotiate deals effectively in the evolving landscape of consumption and outcome-based pricing. The emphasis on building case studies and sharing best practices fosters continuous improvement and learning from successful strategies.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of driving commercial transformation agenda within a vertical

  • Devising the strategy for driving this transformation in conjunction/ partnership with vertical leadership

  • Crafting the execution plan and driving with senior vertical stakeholders across multiple teams (i.e., sales, operations, HR, Growth enablement, etc.) – identify easy opportunities, assimilate best practices, and help speed up implementation

  • Working on sizeable deals, renewals, and pro-active conversions to help teams identify the most suitable commercial model for future

  • Driving curated marketing and/or educational campaigns within the vertical to promote alternate commercial models

  • Leading the reporting and governance on this program with senior leadership (i.e., Global Leadership Council members, Business Leaders, COOs, etc.). Working on identifying trends and gaps

  • Acting as an SME / Guru and driving educational webinars on the potential commercial constructs and their benefits

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • MBA

  • Excellent communication and executive presence to connect at CXO level

  • Ability to assimilate learning from different external and internal interactions and drive to action

  • Strategic Thinker- Ability to create and defend point of view / frameworks. Identify levers/avenues to drive change and ability to independently execute these

  • Ability to influence and drive change independently with senior leaders within the organization

  • Good project management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Good quantitative abilities

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong collaboration skills – ability to drive change in processes and templates with other teams

  • High tolerance to ambiguity

  • Good teammate, collaborative, high energy, good work ethic

  • Good understanding of company’s financial metrics

  • Partner management and team management

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Exposure to commercial / pricing constructs in IT-BP industry

  • Experience on driving strategic initiatives/ change management initiatives
