Video Editor

We are seeking an Experienced Video Editor with a strong creative vision and technical proficiency to craft compelling visual narratives. The ideal candidate will bring storytelling expertise, sharp attention to detail, and a deep understanding of current video trends, formats, and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final videos that meet project goals and brand standards.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative teams to shape video content and storytelling.
• Create and refine motion graphics, visual effects, titles, and transitions.
• Ensure color grading, audio mixing, and final output quality are consistent and professional.
• Adapt content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, websites, OTT).
• Maintain organized project files and manage efficient post-production workflows.
• Stay updated with emerging video trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining high creative standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

3–6+ years of professional video editing experience (agency, broadcast, digital studio, or in-house team).

• Strong portfolio demonstrating narrative editing, pacing, and creative visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent sense of timing, rhythm, and visual composition.
• Comfortable taking direction and iterating quickly on feedback.

Technical Tool Requirements:

Video Editing & NLE (Non-Linear Editing):

• Adobe Premiere Pro (industry standard)
• Final Cut Pro (for Apple ecosystems)
• DaVinci Resolve (especially for color grading & Fairlight audio)

Motion Graphics & VFX:

• Adobe After Effects
• Maxon Cinema 4D (basic usage beneficial)
• Apple Motion (optional)

Color Grading:

• DaVinci Resolve Color Panel
• Lumetri Color in Premiere

Audio Editing / Sound Design:

• Adobe Audition
• Pro Tools (added advantage)

Project Management / Collaboration:

• Frame.io or Wipster (feedback & review)
• Adobe Creative Cloud Shared Libraries
• Asana, Trello, Notion (task tracking)

Trendy/Optional but Valuable:

• Canva Video + CapCut (for social content variants)
• AI Tools for editing assistance: Runway ML, Descript (Overdub/transcription)
• Motion templates from Envato Elements / Motion Array

Education / Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Animation, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
