Ameriprise Financial Is hiring for the role of Analyst Financial Advisory Support!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist Ameriprise financial advisors in servicing clients including preparing basic financial plans, conducting investment research, and completing trades and transactions as described by the advisor.
• Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings.
• Create the agenda and summary of meetings and provide necessary follow-up.
• Prepare and ensure new business paperwork is successfully submitted which includes preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, preparing documentation to send to the home office, tracking new insurance/ annuity applications, and coordinating rollovers.
• Prepare for and coordinate marketing events which include creating marketing compliance documentation.
• Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisors' phone and processing expense management reports.
• Help clients in enrolling/ servicing on various Ameriprise tools.

Requirements:

• Willingness to go for licensing certifications as needed (SERIES 7 and possibly also for State Securities, State IAR, State Insurance)
• Willing to work evening hours: 8:00 pm to 4:30 am (9:30 am to 6 pm CST)
• Graduate in finance discipline (0-1 year experience or 1-year diploma is preferred)
• Good communication skills
• Basic understanding of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word
• Exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement services, etc. would be an added advantage
• Must have an eye for detail with high accuracy levels
• Ability to meet strict timelines per the agreed SLAs for advisor practice
