Android Mobile Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud-based services.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Implement best coding practices, maintainable architecture (MVVM/MVP), and clean code principles.
• Write unit tests and ensure application reliability through robust testing frameworks.
• Work with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, LiveData, ViewModel, and other modern Android development tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and stability.
• Keep up to date with the latest Android trends, SDK updates, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material Design.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, GraphQL, and WebSocket integrations.
• Experience with Room Database, SQLite, or other mobile databases.
• Hands-on experience with MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
• Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks like Dagger/Hilt.
• Experience with version control tools like Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.
• Experience with Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Remote Config) is a plus.
