Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager in the Accounts & Sectors Management team, you will play a key role in leading high-impact account & sector delivery by upholding KPMG values, strengthening senior stakeholders' relationships, and proactively influencing priorities to drive team success. Create measurable value by identifying cross-services opportunities between UK & Swiss support, enabling scalable support models, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to priority & strategic accounts & sectors.

You will also be expected to manage the performance of colleagues and drive the successful completion of our operational excellence ambitions. Your responsibilities will include:

Lead by example to set and deliver program-level objectives across accounts and sectors, driving consistent execution, scalability, and best practice adoption across wider accounts and sectors to deliver measurable business impactDesign and deliver insights-led products that directly enable Client Lead Partners and Account Managers to drive revenue growth across accounts and sectors, while actively leading colleagues through the innovation journey to ensure scalable adoption and sustained impactDemonstrate inclusive and value-led leadership by setting clear direction, empowering team to innovate, and role-modelling accountability and collaboration – driving high performance and continuous improvementStreamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability of accounts and sector support, while building a data-driven outlook that clearly defines measurable growth, value realization, and impact delivered through support servicesActing as a trusted advisor to Client Lead Partner and Account Managers by translating data into strategic recommendations that support delivery of account and sector ambitionsMaintain a solution-oriented mindset by translating challenges into actionable improvement plans, and ensuring teams remain focused on outcomesActively communicate program progress, opportunities, and challenges to Performance Manager, partnering with leadership to drive accountability, resolving obstacles and foster a high-performing result-driven teamDrive people management and development through clear goal-setting, structured guidance, and support for non-performers, ensuring all team members achieve role successEnsure high-quality delivery and excellence at team level and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementDrive structured program-level reviews on quarterly basis to monitor quality, track adoption of new services, and strengthen elevated support delivery across accounts and sectorsCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including Research, CRM, Sales Insights to ensure alignment on account / sector objectives and need.

Educational qualifications

Qualifications: Post Graduation degree from a reputable university

Work experience

7-10 years or business experience in a similar role for a large multinational. Having familiarity with Account Management proposition and solutions will be an added advantage

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

Proficiency in MS-Office and Power-BIStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels

Preferred technical & functional skills

A recognized program management certification (e.g., PMP) would be added advantage
