Assistant Manager- AI Portfolio Management

Role Description:

The Value Management specialist will be responsible for managing various aspects of value management, process consulting, AI-powered optimization, operations, and stakeholder management within the Portfolio & Value Management (PVM) team. This role requires the ability to build compelling storylines, develop outcome-based reports and presentations, and contribute to strategy packs and outcomes work to clearly demonstrate the value delivered.

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Value Management:
    • Prepare impactful PowerPoint storylines by considering various perspectives, collecting information, outcomes, and data from diverse teams.
    • Aggregate, summarize, and visualize the end result to effectively communicate the value delivered to stakeholders.
    • Translate qualitative information into concise themes and outcomes to create compelling narratives and presentations.
    • Track and report on multiple initiatives across teams, demonstrating measurable value delivery.
    • Analyze reports in PowerBI or other formats to draw out essential data and frame outcome statements for leadership reporting.
    • Analyze data and extract key findings, identifying trends and patterns to help drive informed decisions.
    • Work on creating mock-up reports to visualize end results and communicate the value delivered.
    • Collaborate with design teams and subject matter experts to create standout story packs.
    • Partner with data and analytics experts in the team to create PowerBI reports, ensuring accurate, high-quality, and insightful visualizations.

 

  1. Process Consulting:
    • Define current and future state process flows to clearly showcase challenges and opportunities for improvement.
    • Assess the current state of existing processes and recommend solutions for resolving and optimizing them.
    • Prepare future state documentation, outlining the proposed improvements and optimizations to enhance the team's performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improved processes and track their effectiveness over time.
    • Define new processes based on stakeholder requirements or new team initiatives.

 

  1. AI-Powered Optimization: 
    • Leverage AI in all priorities to enhance all deliverables of team and boost overall team productivity.
    • Investigate and apply Generative AI to optimize workflows, deliverables for new initiatives.
    • Use AI-driven insights to streamline tasks, improve data analytics, and increase the impact of deliverables.

 

  1. Stakeholder Management:
    • Understand stakeholder needs and expectations, maintaining clear and timely communication.
    • Build strong stakeholder relationships, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with deliverables.
    • Coordinate with multiple teams to meet deadlines, adjusting plans and timelines as necessary.

 

Role Expectations:

  • Ability to build compelling storylines and develop outcome-based reports and presentations.
  • Strong presentation skills to create PowerPoint materials that convey complex ideas.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using tools like Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written, for effective communication with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including active listening, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated capability to translate both qualitative and quantitative information into concise themes, KPIs and outcomes.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across geographically dispersed teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, strategy, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in value management, value delivery, or technology consulting roles.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps, LeanIX).
  • Solid problem-solving and change management skills, especially in ambiguous or evolving environments.
