Assistant Manager - Corporate Income Tax

Assistant Manager - Tax CIT | Gurgaon

The role involves managing comprehensive corporate tax compliance, advisory support, representation before authorities, coordination with audit teams, and leading client engagements while contributing to research, training, and internal initiatives. The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of direct tax experience, strong analytical and communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Manage corporate tax compliance, including assessments and return filings
• Draft submissions for scrutiny, rectification, stay applications, and appeals
• Represent clients before tax and appellate authorities and follow up on orders
• Provide advisory support on corporate tax and regulatory matters
• Prepare memos, technical notes, and presentations for tax advisory engagements
• Coordinate with audit teams for tax provisioning and tax audit finalization
• Lead and manage multiple corporate tax engagements
• Conduct research on case laws/circulars and prepare impact summaries
• Mentor junior team members and deliver internal trainings
• Prepare engagement letters and support invoicing and collections
• Perform internal reviews of filings and documentation
• Contribute to knowledge initiatives and build strong client relationships

• Qualified CA
• 3–5 years of experience in direct tax compliance
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Good commercial awareness and client management skills
