Associate Director
Role Summary:
This is a critical leadership role within our organisation and will be accountable for the delivery and management of the India-based HR delivery team. This will be made up of Business Partnering, Centre of Excellence and HR Shared Services delivery team which will be a critical component of the Service Delivery model of the KPMG Group People and Resourcing Domain. The role responsibilities include strategically driving both the operational and digital transformation required to support the delivery model ensuring operational effectiveness which strongly aligns with the Group priorities. You will demonstrate that you are a seasoned HR professional with deep functional and operational expertise, combined with the ability to drive strategic transformation across global domains. Identify opportunities for deployment of automation and agentic AI capabilities for process efficiency and service delivery transformation. Contribute to agentic process improvements initiatives as part of transformation efforts within People & Resources.

Strategic HR transformation & leadership
•Partner with both UK and Swiss HR leaders and decision makers to understand business imperatives and articulate people priorities•Play an integral role on the HR leadership team, bringing credibility and strong partnership methods and contribute to overall business decisions•Responsible for the transition of work from UK/Switzerland to the delivery Centre's ensuring the right work is in the right place, driving optimization and transformation•Influence and challenge business decisions from a people perspective, ensuring alignment with company culture and long-term goals••••••••Team Building & Leadership•Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing HR delivery team in India•Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members•Oversee and actively participate in HR processes such as talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operationsRoles & responsibilities (Continued)
•Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR activities in line with Group HR standards and compliance requirements•Act as an escalation point for complex HR issues and provide practical solution.
Team Building & Leadership
•Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing HR delivery team in India•Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members•Oversee and actively participate in HR processes such as talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations
Talent management and succession planning
•Lead talent reviews, succession planning and career development initiatives for key roles and top talent within the business•Enable performance management processes to ensure clarity, accountability and career growth for colleagues•Ensure the delivery team foster a culture of continuous learning to ensure a high performing team cultureGovernance and Compliance
•Participate in regular reviews with Group HR and business teams to assess performance, identify gaps, and agree on improvement plans•Responsible for all delivery outcomes to UK and Switzerland••Provide the business with relevant metrics, data and insights, to make HR related business decisionsTransition & Change Management
•Support the delivery of core HR systems to the Group domain•Enable smooth transition of additional HR workstreams to the offshore team.•Support Group HR during organizational changes, M&A activities, and transformation projects.•Implement change management frameworks and guide the India team through transitions.•Experience in the implementation of business transformation, strategic HR initiatives and processes•Liaise with other functions within HR and others such as Finance, Payroll and Legal team based on business requirementsMandatory technical & functional skills
