Associate Director (AI in HR) - UK

KPMG Global Services (KGS) is currently seeking a AI in HR Associate Director for the Consulting team. The individual will lead a team of professionals who design and support the development of high-quality AI in HR materials for clients. In this role, the individual will have an opportunity to work across several projects that involve the design and delivery of quality materials for tech-enabled transformation projects. The individual should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements and frequent interactions with on-site engagement teams and clients.

The individual will need expert knowledge and skills in AI for HR transformation and the related technologies, project management, stakeholder management, and team management.

As an Associate Director (AI in HR), the individual will manage the delivery of AI projects related to HR processes addressing specific business needs. This involves liaising with onshore counter parts and Subject Matter Experts to gain an understanding of the business requirements and the subject to guide the team in the development of AI assets and end user AI use case materials. 

Strategic & Client Leadership

•Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on AI‑enabled workforce, talent, and organization transformation.•Shape multi‑year client agendas by identifying opportunities where AI unlocks measurable people, productivity, or HR efficiency outcomes.•Translate evolving market trends in AI, HR technology, and workforce strategy into impactful recommendations for clients.•Represent KPMG as a thought leader in external forums, industry events, and executive‑level conversations on AI in People Consulting.

Product / Solution Development

•Conceptualize, design, and lead the development of AI‑enabled HR and workforce solutions that strengthen People Consulting offerings and drive market differentiation.•Translate client needs, emerging HR trends, and AI capabilities into scalable solution blueprints, reusable assets, accelerators, and prototypes.•Oversee cross‑functional teams (AI/ML, engineering, UX, HR domain specialists) to build, refine, and industrialize AI products—ensuring usability, feasibility, and responsible AI compliance.•Ensure responsible AI principles—including transparency, fairness, and risk controls—are embedded in solution designs.•Partner with cross‑functional tech teams to ensure solution feasibility, scalability, and alignment with client tech ecosystems.

Transformation Delivery & Risk Management

•Manage program risks, dependencies, and change impacts across data, technology, process, and people dimensions.

Practice & People Leadership

•Mentor, coach, and develop consultants in AI, analytics, and people transformation capabilities.•Drive capability building within the practice—training, certifications, playbook development, and knowledge management.•Collaborate with global practice leaders to strengthen service offerings, propositions, and delivery quality.

Sales Enablement & Growth

•Lead proposal development, client solutioning, business case commitments, and pricing strategy.•Drive account growth by shaping new opportunities and deepening client relationships.•15+ years of experience in HR Transformation & AI or related consulting work.•Experience leading enterprise-scale AI enabled transformation programs.•Demonstrated success in managing senior stakeholders..
