Department Description

The Resourcing team sits within the Global Talent Team and is responsible for the end to end recruitment process of each hire the company makes. It is a global team operating as the face of Fidelity International with the candidate experience at the heart of everything they do. In rapidly changing markets, they act as brand ambassadors, partnering with the business to ensure the company attracts and secures exceptional diverse talent contributing to their vision of building better financial futures for their customers.

Purpose of the Role

To take operational responsibility for the delivery of permanent recruitment for India locations, and oversight of the Contractor delivery through outsourced MSP. Work with the global resourcing business partners to understand key priorities, ensuring a delivery capability that meets the ongoing needs for both Gurgaon and Bangalore platforms.

  • Leading the HK Talent Acquisition team to deliver an outstanding recruitment experience to candidates and business managers
  • Coaching and developing the team to operate as product line and business SMEs, defining team responsibilities, managing individual performance and goal setting
  • Determining key business requirements through relationships across the business and working in partnership with the HR community
  • Developing the location recruitment strategy based on the business priorities and plans and bringing market intelligence and insights to the organisation
  • Positioning Fidelity as an employer of choice, managing engagement with candidates throughout the selection process
  • Supporting global Talent Acquisition priorities and projects e.g. D&I, branding, process excellence, candidate experience initiatives, vendor strategy etc.
  • Directly managing a portfolio of open roles where needed and appropriate, utilising internal talent pools and direct sourcing channels as a first priority
  • Briefing all individuals involved in the selection process on their role, inclusive recruitment best practice and selection techniques
  • Supporting the Executive recruitment team in India on Director and above level hires where appropriate
  • Working with the business to ensure adoption of all relevant systems and processes, ensuring compliance with all policies and guidelines relating to Talent Acquisition
  • Managing the approval and offer processes and ensure continued candidate engagement until start date
  • Working with Compensation & Benefits teams to ensure we remain competitive
  • Managing key supplier performance and relationships (3rd party agencies)
  • Oversee the sourcing and delivery performance of contractors through outsourced Managed Service Provider, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance delivery alongside UK team

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • In-house recruitment experience from ideally Financial Services sector
  • People management / team leadership experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
  • Pride in delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Track record of strategy development, project management and working on various change initiativ
