Job Description: AVP – Digital Acquisitions (Wealth Management Focus)

Position Title: AVP – Digital Acquisitions
Location: Novus Towers, Gurugram
Reports to: Chief Growth Officer

Experience Level: 10+ years of overall experience in client acquisitions, with 3-5 years focused on Wealth Management / Financial Planning

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven digital acquisition strategy lead for client acquisitions, particularly in the wealth management/retirement planning space. You will oversee execution of digital marketing campaigns via agencies across channels, including Google Ads, Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram), WhatsApp, and other key digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing a monthly budget of ₹50 Lakhs, collaborating with agencies (including affiliates and search ads), and ensuring high-performance client acquisition strategies to meet acquisitions targets and maximise the budget impact.

This is an individual-led role that requires expertise in managing digital agencies towards client acquisitions using various digital channels. The role demands good background in performance optimization, and a deep understanding of digital analytics will be required. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition Management:
    • Develop, implement, and optimize client acquisition strategies via various digital marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta, WhatsApp, etc.).
    • Work on the Cost Per Lead (CPL) model and ensure that campaigns align with KPIs and budget constraints.
  2. Agency Management:
    • Manage and collaborate with external agencies, including affiliates and search ad agencies, to ensure the smooth execution of acquisition campaigns.
    • Set and ensure agencies meet key performance metrics and deliverables.
  3. Campaign Optimization & Funnel Management:
    • Lead efforts in optimizing clickstream funnels to enhance conversion rates across various digital touchpoints.
    • Ensure seamless end-to-end management of campaigns, from inception to analysis, including landing page optimization and user journey refinement.
  4. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Analyze and extract insights from various client segmentations using tools like CleverTap, Webengage, and CRM systems.
    • Develop and communicate clear reports on key marketing metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), and Return on Investment (ROI).
    • Provide regular updates and detailed reports on campaign performance to senior leadership.
  5. Lead Management & CRM Systems:
    • Leverage Lead Management Systems (LMS) and CRM tools to track, manage, and optimize leads generated through digital marketing efforts.
    • Utilize data dashboards (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Data Studio) to monitor and analyze lead flow and conversion metrics.
  6. Market Research & Strategy Development:
    • Conduct ongoing research into the wealth management space, staying informed on trends, competition, and consumer behaviour.
    • Develop and refine strategies to enhance client acquisition in the retirement planning and wealth management.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • MBA in Marketing (preferred) or a Digital Marketing Certification from a well-recognized institute with demonstrated ability to lead acquisitions.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10+ years of experience in digital acquisitions, with at least 3-5 years specifically in in the wealth management industry.
    • Proven experience managing a monthly budget of ₹50 Lakhs or more in digital marketing campaigns.
    • Demonstrated expertise in working with affiliate agencies, search ads, and performance marketing channels.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong hands-on experience with platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and WhatsApp marketing.
    • In-depth understanding of digital marketing analytics tools (CleverTap, Webengage, Mixpanel, etc.) and their application for customer segmentation and campaign optimization.
    • Proficiency in managing Lead Management Systems (LMS) and CRM tools.
    • Excellent understanding of key performance metrics such as CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and ROI.
    • Proven track record in optimizing digital customer acquisition funnels and enhancing conversion rates.
    • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting and reporting marketing metrics to senior stakeholders effectively.

  2. Agency Collaboration: Ensure seamless management and collaboration with external agencies for client acquisitions.

  4. Analytics Insights: Derive actionable insights from tools like CleverTap, Webengage, and client segmentation.
  5. CRM & Dashboards: Ensure efficient management of leads and use of data dashboards for performance tracking.
