About the team:

The IT End User Service Operations Team is part of Gartner Technology Services (GTS) and sits within the Client Services Organization. IT End User Service Ops partners closely with the service team leadership to continually drive efficiency & effectiveness gains while taking steps to ensure the IT End User organization is continually working towards the vision of fostering a people-centric culture and high performing teams.

What you will do:

  • Partner with the Regional ITEU Program Managers to deliver the required insights to support the Monthly Business Reviews that the BU leaders present to the head of Global Services & Delivery. 
  • Create regular reports/slides for the global leaders, with an eye to automate and identify opportunities to improve both the value and experience of the information consumer.
  • Partner with the wider IT End User Operations team and central Analytics team to uncover new information about our business performance and identify opportunities to further improve our business results
  • Leverage mathematical and analytical methods to develop creative approaches to solve complex problems.
  • Support leadership with data for Town halls and other key meetings covering retention, proven practices and associate performance (recognition) 
  • Ad hoc analysis requests from senior leadership team
  • Support global initiatives in partnership with regional Program Managers, when ready take on the lead as needed
  • Proactively help identifying trends in leading and lagging indicators to not only identify possible challenges we need to address, but also potential best practices to learn from.
  • Bright spot analysis of engagement plan delivery to decision makers based on initial finding from quantitative analysis
  • Surface insights and streamline repeat activities using data visualization
  • For all analytics work:
    • Prioritize new work based on retention impact
    • Seek insights and propose solutions / ideas / strategies
    • Look for process improvements, new processes & opportunities for analytics automation
    • Collaborate with business users to ensure output is error free, seamless and easy to use

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with a specialty in either Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or Mathematics
  • Proven track record of excellence, fueled by critical thinking, analytic, and communications skills
  • Ability to convert business insights to actionable recommendations
  • Experience with advanced data manipulation and summarization skills using Excel/Python
  • SQL knowledge to fetch relevant data from warehouse
  • Intermediate PowerBI knowledge to leverage it as a tool to manipulate large size datasets
  • PowerPoint skills including ability to summarize key message and leverage right charts in think-cell
  • Demonstrated expertise in descriptive analytics and statistical analyses as good to have
  • Detail-oriented with high personal standard for quality and accuracy along with a strategic mindset to interpret and problem solve
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill them in a proactive manner
