The CL7 role acts as a business facing Automation Lead, responsible for owning and driving the automation agenda with Business Leadership. This role builds a continuous automation pipeline, accelerates execution across functions, proactively identifies and resolves bottlenecks, and ensures consistent visibility on automation performance and risks. Develop transformation vision, assess vision feasibility and capability gaps, plan journey management. Translate economic trends into industry competitive advantage, transform a business to enable profitable & sustainable growth.
What are we looking for? • Strong program and execution management • Ability to influence cross functional teams without direct authority • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good understanding of automation levers (RPA, AHT, CU, GenAI, etc.) • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement & escalation capabilities • 15+ years of experience in automation, delivery management, transformation or related domains • Proven experience managing multi deal automation portfolios • Strong leadership presence and ability to work directly with senior business stakeholders
Roles and Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary automation partner to Business/Offering/Market leaders • Champion the automation agenda — aligning priorities, identifying value hotspots, and embedding automation in business planning • Run regular leadership connects to aligning progress, challenges, and required decisions • Identify innovative, high impact opportunities leveraging RPA, LCNC, GenAI, Agentic AI, analytics, and process reengineering • Driving continuous discovery — partnering with Delivery, Process SMEs, Transformation leads, Analytics, Technology, and GenAI-Agentic PODs • Maintain a healthy pipeline with clear stages, timelines, owners, and value expectations • Work across Delivery, Process Excellence, Analytics, Tech, and Change leads to ensure fast tracked execution • Removes inter team blockers, simplify decision flow, and ensure timely approvals • Track progress across the lifecycle (intake ? assessment ? build ? deploy ? value realization) • Identify dependencies, delays, skill/resource gaps, data issues, or design constraints early • Partner with Delivery & Technology to unblock issues and maintain execution velocity • Escalate structural issues with recommended solution paths • Partner with business stakeholders to jointly drive the automation program across Accenture Operations, ensuring alignment on priorities, value levers, and outcomes • Collaborate with transformation teams across the globe to identify innovative practices, new methods, and next-gen approaches that strengthen the automation pipeline and accelerate value realization • Work closely with Technology teams to fast-track development and deployment of automation/GenAI-Agentic solutions, proactively addressing technical dependencies and unlocking rapid execution • Provide transparent progress reporting through dashboards, insights, and status reviews • Proactively raise Red Alerts where risks threaten automation outcomes — lack of pipeline, stalled deployments, low adoption, or misaligned targets • Ensure leadership is continuously aware of progress, bottlenecks, impact delivered, and actions required
