Roles & responsibilities :
We are seeking a seasoned professional with strong credentials, extensive experience, and a wealth of skills in quantitative analysis and analytics. The ideal candidate will be able to perform complex financial analysis by leveraging a variety of third-party data sources, as well as internal KPMG data. Additionally, this individual must possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the onshore team. Responsibilities include:
•Address the complex stakeholder needs for business development, updates on market development, and client engagements.•Assist onshore practitioners on data insights needs for business development, market development, and sector intelligence•Effectively manage the request intake process including participating in project scoping calls to clarify understanding and prepare a detailed project scope document capability•Utilize market data, economic data, analyst reports, and KPMG / competitor financial data, to conduct ad-hoc analyses on:•Company: identifying key metrics (financial and non-financial) using various internal and external sources•Market and competition: developing audit market shares and statistics for external content /collaterals to strengthen KPMG’s market position vis-à-vis its competitors•Sector: providing sector penetrations statistics to support go to market strategy by various sectors•Prepare client ready deliverables that are well structured, logical, and are backed by visually appealing analysis (by utilizing tools such as Power BI)•Showcase a greater degree of flexibility, steer well through complexity/ambiguity and cater to everchanging requirements from the LeadershipThis role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
•Graduate and Postgraduate (MBA / CFA / CA / M.Com. / PG in Economics)Work experience
•The candidate must have 4-7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and data analytics•
Mandatory skillset
•Possesses intermediate to advanced skills in MS-Office, namely MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word.•Demonstrates knowledge of up-and-coming tools, such as Power BI, Alteryx, and R.•Boasts proficiency in various databases, such as Audit Analytics, Capital IQ, D&B Hoovers, Pitchbook, and Lexis Nexis.•Has a decent understanding of key audit functions, including relevant terminology and metrics (e.g., audit changes, audit fees, audit opinions, restatements).•Able to transform vast datasets into structured and carefully examined reports.•Excels at conveying findings in visually appealing and appropriate analysis, both verbally and in grammatically correct written English.•Prior experience interacting with clients would be an added advantage.•Behavioral / Team Skills
