Consultant - FPA

Global financial reporting tasks:

  • Collect monthly spend data from multiple country stakeholders and consolidate by workstream using Excel
  • Ensure monthly and quarterly financial and tools reporting processes are followed in compliance with KPMG International processes
  • Review and standardize data received from Global finance using Excel templates, ensuring accuracy and completeness for Leadership reporting 
  • Accruals, Actuals and projections tracking for the program, liasing with member firm leads and finance to resolve the issues
  • Review and validate the monthly TL, identify the missing costs and prepare accruals
  • Support member firm teams to raise member firm recharges (monthly) 
  • Generate and update a dashboard to evaluate the financial performance of the program and track it against the budget/forecast using Tableau/ PowerBI visualisation dashboard

Cost analysis and data presentation:

  • Work on the cost analysis, able to identify the over or under-spend and highlight the potential savings and opporutnites
  • Reporting program status and accomplishments quarterly via ppts, interacting with work-stream owners to gather the data.

Mandatory Skills

 

  • The candidate must have 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm / consulting / Big 4
  • Demonstrates proficiency in data analysis, report generation, and the use of visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of Financial Management methodologies with full financial reporting and governance
  • Project workflow awareness – project forecast, lifecycle, budget and planning etc.
  • Adept at working with large data sets in Excel utilizing advanced formulas, pivots, and graphs to derive meaningful insights,  and capable of creating comprehensive reports in PowerPoint.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data. 
  • Possesses excellent communication skills to build effective relationships and promptly respond to inquiries.
  • Displays a proactive attitude and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Skilled in adapting written communications to suit diverse audiences.
  • Consistently exhibits behaviors aligned with KPMG's values and leadership culture.
