Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into functional software components, ensuring that the solutions are efficient and effective in addressing the challenges faced by the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java.
- Good To Have Skills: Backend- Java 8+, Spring, JDBC, Multithreading, Hibernate, Spring Batch.
- Experience with RESTful API development, Java backend development with Foreign exchange / cap markets.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, with Working practices in Agile Methodologies DevOps, with CI / CD : Maven , Git, GitLab , TeamCity (good to have) and Tool knowledge in JIRA.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure,
- Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL also in SQL Server 2017/T-SQL (Proc, Queries) is must have.
- Should have OS knowledge in OS : Unix, RHEL , Windows and cloud knowledge in Google Cloud (Good to have) with IDE knowledge in Eclipse / IntelliJ.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 6+ years of hands on experience in Spring Boot with Java 8+, Spring, JDBC, Multithreading, Hibernate, Spring Batch.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
