As a Custom Software Engineer, your day will involve designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the solutions align with organizational goals, and continuously refining the applications to enhance their effectiveness and usability. Your role will be pivotal in translating business challenges into functional software components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within the operational environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Maintain and update existing applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Document technical specifications and processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Workday modules to align with business processes.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Workday applications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data migration processes related to Workday.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
