Job Description
Data Analyst
About this role:
As a Data Analyst on the Corporate Communications team, you’ll be a key partner to the Client-Facing Business Unit (CFBU) Communications group, helping elevate how we plan, measure, and deliver communications across the organization. Your work will directly support major communication channels—including town halls, newsletters, leadership updates, and more—by ensuring we operate with clarity, insight, and consistency.
In this role, success comes from your ability to translate both quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful, actionable insights. You’ll build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards that help inform decisions across the team, while also shaping how Communications leaders interpret and act on data. The CFBU leadership team will look to you to take complex datasets and turn them into clear, visually compelling PowerPoint deliverables that drive alignment and productive outcomes. You’ll also champion best practices in data visualization and storytelling, ensuring our communication strategies continue to evolve and improve.
What you’ll do :
Measure and analyze communication effectiveness by setting and tracking KPIs (e.g., open rates, click‑through rates, views, engagement).
Use qualitative and quantitative data to uncover insights, improve decision‑making, and communicate findings clearly.
Identify trends and patterns in internal communications, including topics of interest, channel performance, and optimal engagement times.
Translate data into actionable recommendations that support stakeholders and drive communication improvements.
Create and maintain best‑in‑class visualizations (charts, dashboards, heatmaps, presentations) using Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across dashboards, presentations, and reporting outputs; identify and address gaps for improvement.
Develop data solutions for emerging platforms, leveraging AI tools and refine existing reporting to improve efficiency and clarity.
Build, manage, and optimize Excel dashboards, integrating feedback to enhance usability and decision‑support.
Continuously improve analysis, processes, and deliverables to surface insights more effectively.
Deliver clear, accurate analysis by understanding business needs, incorporating feedback, and presenting findings confidently.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring satisfaction and solution-oriented service.
Use data to support recommendations, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement in engagement strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases, scale reporting processes efficiently, and uncover opportunities for automation.
What you’ll need :
Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s in data science, Business Analytics, or a related field is a plus.
3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally supporting complex communications or analytics programs.
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and presentation.
Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to handle large datasets; experience with additional analytics tools is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills to enable direct and frequent conversations with senior leaders in Gartner
Demonstrated ability to form relationships with senior leaders.
Experience and aptitude to work with different data sources
Ability to deal with ambiguity and independently manage projects from start to finish
What you'll get:
A seat to the table to help drive peak performance in a growing, people business.
Encouragement to be innovative and challenge status quo.
Exposure to industry leading training and development.
Performance based recognition and rewards.
