Project Role Description : Manage the physical components of a data center, such as floor space, air conditioning, power, installations. Manage vendors and vendor components. Typically manage 24/7 services, such as batch management and system event monitoring. Manage data center operators.

Summary:
As a Data Centre Lead, you will oversee the essential operations of a data center, ensuring that all physical components function seamlessly. Your typical day will involve managing floor space, air conditioning, and power installations, while also coordinating with vendors to maintain optimal service levels. You will be responsible for monitoring system events and batch management, ensuring that the data center operates efficiently around the clock. Additionally, you will lead a team of data center operators, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance service delivery and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Oversee the management of physical components within the data center, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely installations and maintenance of equipment.
- Implement best practices for data center operations to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in VMware Tanzu Application Service.
- Strong understanding of data center management principles and practices.
- Experience with system event monitoring tools and batch management processes.
- Familiarity with vendor management and coordination.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of data center operators.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in VMware Tanzu Application Service.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
