Project Role Description : Manage the physical components of a data center, such as floor space, air conditioning, power, installations. Manage vendors and vendor components. Typically manage 24/7 services, such as batch management and system event monitoring. Manage data center operators.

Summary:
As a Data Centre Lead, your day involves overseeing the essential physical infrastructure of the data center, ensuring optimal utilization of floor space, maintaining environmental controls like air conditioning and power supply, and coordinating installations. You will engage with various vendors to manage their components effectively and ensure seamless 24/7 operations, including batch processing and system event monitoring. Additionally, you will supervise data center operators, ensuring smooth and continuous service delivery while addressing any operational challenges that arise throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and maintenance of hardware and services.
- Monitor and optimize data center environmental conditions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in VMware Tanzu Application Service.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure management and operational best practices.
- Experience in managing 24/7 service environments including batch management and system event monitoring.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Skilled in supervising and leading technical teams to ensure high service availability.
- Familiarity with physical infrastructure components such as power systems, cooling, and floor space management.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in VMware Tanzu Application Service.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
