Inviting applications for the role of Director - Data Analytics
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting teams with diverse analytical skill sets, delivering across a broad range of analytics projects in the audit, controls, and risk management domains through internal and external collaboration. You will also oversee client delivery by driving innovation through advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive business growth by actively building a sales pipeline, leading client discussions, and managing proposals and solution responses to deliver differentiated value.
Design and refine service offerings, including delivery models, commercial structures, and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
Develop and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their business priorities and providing tailored insights that strengthen trust and partnership.
Lead end-to-end project delivery—strategy, planning, and execution—while ensuring high-quality outcomes across global, cross-functional teams.
Manage client engagements effectively, including engagement economics, staffing, and meeting expectations on quality and timeliness.
Identify analytics opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative, AI-driven solutions that enhance risk management and audit processes.
Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, utilization management, and career growth initiatives.
Deliver outcomes in audit and risk analytics by orchestrating diverse capabilities such as data engineering, modeling, visualization, architecture design, and information security compliance.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
B.E. or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering with relevant experience in Data Practice and Platforms.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science or Data Engineering programs.
Significant experience in driving analytics engagements, preferably in internal/external audits, risk and compliance, and/or internal controls.
Excellent communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong team leadership capabilities.
Highly flexible, adaptable, and creative, with hands-on consulting experience in leading and managing client delivery on data and analytics engagements.
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of analytics tools and technologies across a broad spectrum, with hands-on experience in delivering solutions using tools such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Qlik, ACL, Alteryx, AWS, GCP, Hadoop, Spark, etc.
Experience in developing and deploying audit/risk analytics solutions, with a solid understanding of risk management, compliance, internal controls, and internal audit concepts, and how analytics can transform these functions.
Understanding of information security aspects related to deployment and ability to design solutions that meet client-specific requirements.
Ability to work across a broad client portfolio in global, cross-cultural teams and matrix environments, effectively influencing stakeholders through strong communication skills while leveraging advanced analytics concepts.
