What you'll do

As an Economics Analyst, you’ll be supporting the development of executive and senior management communication packs during stress test execution. You’ll also be contributing to the wider team mandate with end-to-end ownership for specific tasks or project outputs.

You’ll also be responsible for:

• Enabling the team to support FR&A in ad-hoc projects
• Supporting the provision of economic scenarios across budgeting, provisioning and stress-testing exercises
• Assisting in associated stakeholder engagement and ensuring a well managed risk and control environment
• Employing quantitative and qualitative techniques to solve business problems
• Engaging with various stakeholder across risk, finance and businesses for planning and coordination

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll hold a degree in a quantitative discipline, paired the ability to present quantitative topics with application to real world developments.

On top of this, we’re looking for:

• A post graduation in economics, statistics, business or related fields
• Experience of working in an economics or stress testing related role in a global financial firm would be an added advantage
• A sound understanding of the finance industry and stress testing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good collaboration skills
