Position: Electrical Professional – Engineering Services (P1)

Location: JLL Business Services, Sector-30, Gurugram

What this job involves –

As an Electrical Engineer working on a variety of projects in the India region, you will be responsible for reviewing & designing the electrical systems as a Peer Review Engineering professional under the supervision of technical lead whilst adhering to delivery standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed in line with company QA/QC procedures. You will be part of a team responsible for reviewing, designing, drafting, and evaluating Electrical, ELV, AV/IT/Security systems packages.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Update and support the team on design & review the calculations, layouts, codes & standards etc. and full delivery of the given tasks under the best quality and timely manner.

• Support the team in designing all electrical systems ensuring compliance with standards, local regulations, and authority requirements such as NBC, IEC, IS, NFPA, CPCB, CPWD and Local Authority Codes.

• Review and develop the conceptual to detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for all the electrical systems, such as interior and exterior lighting design, small power distribution, cable routing, fire alarm, earthing, lightning protection etc. under the supervision of Technical Team Lead.

• Support technical lead in reviewing the electrical design documents from the consultants/contractors, including drawings, models, specifications, schedules & technical reports utilizing ACAD (AutoCAD), Revit etc.

• Able to handle several electrical design tasks for multiple projects

• Undertake lighting calculations on Dialux software, as required under the supervision of senior electrical engineers  

• Collaborate the inputs provided by architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into project designs

Requirements for the Role: 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or building services engineering (or similar). 

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience, with significant experience in design consultancy background. 

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably with a focus on Indian projects. 

• Good knowledge of Indian Local Regulations and Authority Requirements, such as CPCB, EID (Electrical Inspectorate Department), CEA (Central Electrical Authority), CPWD, NBC etc. 

• Extensive knowledge of electrical load calculations, power distribution, voltage drop analysis, cable sizing, earthing calculations, lightning protection etc. 

• Sound understanding of lighting systems, small power distribution, cable sizing, containment sizing etc.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. 

• Working knowledge of software/platform like Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Dialux. 

• Experience working on Large Scale Corporate Interior Projects / Fit outs will be an added advantage.

• Travelling within PAN India may be required sometimes as per project requirements.

• Preference would be given to those who can join early.
