The Client Assessment Team (“CAT”) Administrator is responsible for carrying out day-to-day client onboarding and review tasks to ensure KPMG remains compliant with anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (“AML/CFT/CFP”) regulatory obligations across the Crown Dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man) and KPMG’s internal global policies and procedures, including CEAC, Sentinel and Independence requirements.
Working as part of the wider CAT team, the Administrator will assist in gathering and reviewing CDD documentation, conducting verification checks, maintaining internal systems, and escalating complex matters to senior team members.
•Analyze and evaluate, complete client profile questionnaires to assess client risk ratings for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Finance of Terrorism (“AML/CFT/CPF”) purposes
•Review and ensure CDD held for new and existing clients meet the requirements of the relevant authorities
•Assist engagement teams in profiling requirements and advising them on obtaining the relevant CDD
•Ensure the CDD provided by engagement teams meets regulatory requirements and is filed accordingly
•Ensure the CDD database is accurately updated with relevant and key details in accordance with the guidance provided by relevant authorities
•Assist the operations team and engagement teams with background checks using in-house systems to evaluate AML/CFT and any further potential risks to the firm via ongoing screening
•Ensure PEP registers and other relevant registers are accurately maintained and kept up to date
•Participates in internal and external meetings to provide detailed updates, contribute to strategic discussions
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and promote enhancements to internal processes based on evolving industry standards
•Maintenance and accuracy of data within CEAC, Sentinel and associated risk systems.
•Ad-hoc duties and project to support the work of the Client Assessment Team and wider firm objectives
•Collaborate with CAT management to meet risk, and compliance standards and foster operational excellence.
•Maintain a positive and professional culture within CAT and wider teams.
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
•Minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with an excellent academic result.Work experience
•Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a Big 4 consulting firm.
•Preferably experience in customer due diligence (CDD) and AML roles for global clients. Experience in KYC and risk assessments would be preferrable.
•Experience in team coaching, evaluating performance and providing feedback.
•Knowledge of Client Admin Support functions

•Strong attention to detail
•Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
•Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within financial services or compliance environments. Exposure to AML processes or onboarding is desirable.
