Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and validate airline ticket refunds through GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar) according to IATA, ARC/BSP, and airline-specific rules.
  • Interpret and apply fare rules, restrictions, and refund policies for domestic and international carriers, including non-refundable and partially used tickets.
  • Analyze PNR and e-ticket data to determine refund eligibility, cancellation fees, and applicable penalties.
  • Collaborate with travel consultants, finance teams, and airlines to resolve refund disputes and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Track refund cases and maintain accurate documentation in internal systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).
  • Respond to customer service inquiries regarding refund status and educate clients on applicable airline policies.
  • Stay updated on airline policy changes, industry developments, and GDS functionality enhancements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce refund processing time and increase accuracy.
