Financial Operations Lead


What will you drive?

Financial Close & Reporting

  • Oversee the financial accounting and control functions, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
  • Provide oversight of accounting operations to maintain consistency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

General Ledger Management

  • Ensure the integrity of the general ledger by conducting regular reconciliations and promptly resolving discrepancies.
  • Review and monitor journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.

Reconciliation & Compliance

  • Perform thorough account reconciliations, including intercompany and bank reconciliations, while adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Facilitate seamless external and internal audit processes by providing accurate documentation and clear explanations.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, leveraging automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop, update, and refine Record-to-Report (R2R) policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.

Finance Automation and Digitalization

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and automate financial workflows for improved operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with FP&A, Controllership, and Business Finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate reporting.
  • Provide analytical insights and support for strategic financial initiatives and cross-departmental projects.

Team Development

  • Foster a collaborative team environment by mentoring and supporting team members in skill development.
  • Focus on continuous improvement to enhance team productivity and efficiency over time.


Who's the perfect fit?

  • Experience: 6-10 years in Finance Operations, Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and other applicable accounting standards.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to analytical decision-making processes.
  • Ownership and Responsibility: Proven track record of taking initiative and ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Results-Oriented: High energy, focus, and a strong drive to achieve results in a dynamic environment.
