Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex technology projects, with proven expertise in vendor management, project estimations, and team capacity planning. The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of technology initiatives, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining high standards of project governance.

Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery
· Lead end-to-end project management for technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Work with vendor Project Managers to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
· Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
· Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
2. Vendor Management
· Identify, evaluate, and onboard technology vendors and service providers.
· Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing with vendors.
· Manage ongoing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
· Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and address any issues or escalations.
3. Estimations Review
· Review and validate project estimations provided by technical leads and development teams.
· Ensure estimation methodologies are robust, realistic, and aligned with project objectives.
· Analyze historical data and project metrics to improve estimation accuracy over time.
4. Team Capacity Review & Resource Management
· Assess and monitor overall team capacity, skill sets, and workload distribution.
· Collaborate with team leads to optimize resource allocation and address capacity gaps.
· Forecast future resource needs based on project pipeline and business priorities.
· Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members as required.
5. Stakeholder Management & Communication
· Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business users, senior management, and external partners.
· Communicate project goals, progress, risks, and outcomes clearly and effectively.
· Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
6. Process Improvement & Best Practices
· Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
· Implement industry best practices to enhance project delivery and team performance.
· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
· 13–15 years of experience in technical project management within the technology sector.
· Strong experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance management.
· Proven track record in project estimations, resource planning, and capacity management.
· Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
· Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
· PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
· Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
