Responsibilities:

Role:  

  • Work as a subject matter expert on Product Lifecycle Management and its various applications and modules. 

  • Work extensively with team members and clients to assess their detailed PLM requirements and form functional and technical specifications. 

  • Lead process capability mapping initiatives related to PLM business processes and establish a narrative on application maturity. 

  • Must have knowledge of various modules and functionalities of PLM like NPD (New Product Development), Raw Material Management, Packaging Management, Recipe and Formula Development, Labeling and Compliance, Operations and Manufacturing Integration, IP security, Collaborative Product management etc. 

  • Perform architecture and design review of PLM applications at Enterprise level/ Plant level/Shop floor level. 

  • Lead on-site efforts for data collection, workshops and walkthrough sessions with technical and functional stakeholders for PLM and related applications. 

  • Prepare a framework and roadmap for integrating PLM with other enterprise level applications, OT layer, other Digital solutions like MES, IIoT platform, Energy Management Systems etc. 

  • Prepare and contextualize business cases detailing the benefits of various initiatives under PLM with client-specific business benefits. 

  • Drive the creation of program level application and technical architecture documents which leverage PLM best practices. 

  • Perform capability, architecture and design reviews, while troubleshooting key implementation and operational issues, and demonstrating the ability to drive to successful resolution. 

  • Review and pro-active correction of project/program direction, approach and key artifacts to keep programs on track, solutions extendable and maintainable going forward. 

  • Should have experience in working in on premises, (cloud and hybrid are plus) environments. 

Mandatory skill sets: 

  • Overall, 5+ Years of experience in PLM, PLM integration with ERP and other systems . 

  • In depth knowledge and experience in PLM applications, specifically for process industries like Pharma, Specialty Chemicals, Food & Beverages, Consumer Goods, Cosmetics and Apparel. 

  • PLM design, development and implementation of custom build PLM modules. 

  • Must have knowledge of a few of the COTS PLM products like Infor, Traceone, SAP PLM, Centric. 

  • PLM implementation experience in multiple continuous and batch manufacturing process industry sectors 

  • Good oral and written communication is required. 

  • Develops strong stake holders and vendor management by building trust, rapport and positive working relationships with key sponsors and team members. 

  • Remain current with leading edge industry and technology drivers and innovations. 

  • Manage discussions with various levels of technical audiences and functional stakeholders 

Preferred skill sets: 

Certifications preferred but not mandatory 

Years of experience required: 

5 to 8 years of experience in PLM 

Education qualification: 

B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E/ M.TECH/ MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs
