Job Description & Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Secondary Research Analyst to support our Deals Team. The ideal candidate should experience conducting comprehensive secondary research to gather market, industry, and competitive insights. This role involves synthesizing complex data to inform deal evaluation, financial modelling, valuation, and strategic decision-making processes, working closely with various internal teams including Data Strategy and Valuation.

Responsibilities: · Conduct thorough secondary research using a variety of sources including market reports, industry databases, financial statements, news outlets, and regulatory filings. · Gather and analyze relevant market, competitor, economic, and sector data to support deal sourcing, evaluation, and strategic initiatives. · Collaborate closely with Financial Modelling, Valuation, and Data Strategy teams to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights. · Summarize findings in clear, well-structured reports, presentations, and dashboards for use by senior management and deal teams. · Oversee a team of financial modelling analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure high-quality deliverables. · Validate and cross-verify data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability. · Track industry trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks related to ongoing deals and new market entry efforts. · Support due diligence processes by providing contextual and market intelligence inputs.
