Design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for SWIFT payment messages (e.g., MT/MX formats) aligned with business and compliance requirements. Coordinate and oversee test execution cycles, ensuring timely defect identification, triage, and closure in collaboration with development and business teams. Validate payment processing, routing, and settlement logic across upstream and downstream systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and resilience. Review and optimize test coverage for core SWIFT payment scenarios, edge cases, and negative testing to minimize production defects. Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to understand requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure traceability from requirements to test cases. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior testers, guiding them on SWIFT payments domain, testing best practices, and quality standards. Contribute to or oversee test data strategy for SWIFT payments, including creation, masking, and maintenance of realistic test datasets. Prepare clear test reports, metrics, and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting risks, quality trends, and go/no-go recommendations. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and standards within the payments domain, aligning with organizational quality goals.
