Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Network Change

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the network operations 24X7 for internal IT. You will be working actively on the operational issues along with internal / external stakeholders to recover the systems failure (proactive/reactive).

You will work Incident Management, Problem Management for each incidents/tickets and need to ensure the high uptime to the business.

Your role will network L2+ and need to work on various current/upcoming technologies (explained below) to support business needs.


· The candidate should be holding of hardcore 24X7 network Ops experience

· Front-end face for Genpact Network Team while participating in internal P1/P2 Incident resolution bridge call

· Participate in Bridge calls with clients for joint troubleshooting of network issues

· Work with different Vendors and service Provider for faster and accurate resolution

· Playing key role for network related incidents and providing key inputs for Problem Management

· Identifying open risk in the production network and provide input for mitigation

· Documenting all Changes done in production environment through Change Management process

· Must have worked on large scale infra

· Candidate must have worked/handled the IT projects

· Global customer interaction is one of the key expectation from candidate

· The candidate should hold very rich experience in corporate LAN & WAN infra

· Candidate must have worked on the latest technologies (Cloud, ACI, SDN and SDWAN)

· He/she need to lead function and drive the project/operations end to end

· Candidate should be very strong in written & oral communication

· Hands-on experience on Cisco Routers (ASR/ISR Series) and Switches (6500/4500/3850 Model)

· Candidate must have work experience in implementing/troubleshooting Routing (Static, EIGRP, BGP and Policy Based routing) and Switching issues (VTP/STP)

Minimum Qualifications

· Graduate in engineering/IT

· Front-end face for Genpact Network Team while participating in internal P1/P2 Incident resolution bridge call

· Fluency in English with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively

· Demonstrate positive attitude, take initiative towards learning and accepting new challenges

· Willing to work in 24*7 environment in all technology domains

· Ability to understand, analyze and resolve problems quickly with focus towards customer centricity

· Self-motivated and firm believer in team spirit.

· Can face challenging circumstances with confidence and able to deliver better in stressful environment

· Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision

· Basic understanding of Network protocols and devices (LAN, WAN, Routing, Switching, Firewall)

· Basic understanding of Cloud computing, Windows/Linux Server Technology, Storage, Virtualization and Hardware

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

CCNA (Must)

CCNP –Routing and Switching (Good to have)
