Job Description

As our new Mapping/Lidar Processing Analyst you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Will need to coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for RST/GeoSpatial works in a given project.
• Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents
• Exercises self-discipline and work ethics.
• Respect and follow company policies and procedures.
• Carry out self-checks of his/her works as per company policy.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or M.Sc. surveying/Geospatial science/GIS/Remote sensing is preferred.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 4-7 years as a Mapping/Lidar Processing Analyst may be considered as well.
• Good/Strong knowledge of Microstation/AutoCAD, Terrasolid TerraScan / TerraModeler / TerraPhoto and/or TerraMatch (or similar) and any other additional Mapping Software.
• Perform any LiDAR pre and post processing tasks allocated as per project requirements
• Knowledge of Elevation System Adjustment
• Input Data Validation, Data Calibration and Registration
• Data Classification (Manual and Automatic)
• Quality Control of the post processed data Exp in - Microstation, Terrasolid products, Global Mapper
• Planimetric extraction and preparation of deliverable in MicroStation.
• Check and Perform Camera misalignment solutions Committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
