Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Good to have skills : Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL)

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. Your role will involve five aspects of Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution. You will contribute to ensuring optimal performance and scalability of our systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions. - Design and execute performance tests to evaluate system performance and scalability. - Analyze test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements. - Conduct capacity planning to ensure systems can handle expected workloads. - Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve performance issues. - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance engineering. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving performance-related incidents. - Create and maintain performance test scripts and test data. - Develop and maintain performance monitoring dashboards and reports. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Architecture. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture principles. - Experience in performance testing tools and methodologies. - Knowledge of capacity planning techniques and tools. - Familiarity with application performance management tools. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues. - Proficiency in scripting and automation for performance testing. - Solid understanding of performance monitoring and profiling techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in AWS Architecture. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
