Role Overview

The Head – Procurement will lead end-to-end procurement across manufacturing, retail, and corporate spend, with a strong mandate on cost optimization, process transformation, and value creation. This is a high-impact leadership role for a commercially sharp, tech-first, execution-driven leader who can deliver tangible cost savings while building scalable, resilient procurement systems to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Commercial Strategy

• Define and execute short- and long-term procurement strategy aligned to margin and growth objectives

• Drive proactive cost optimization through strategic sourcing, negotiations, and demand consolidation

• Implement should-cost, TCO, and value engineering frameworks across categories
  
  

Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Lead vendor selection, consolidation, negotiations, and contracting across large spend categories

• Build and manage strong supplier ecosystems focused on cost, quality, speed, and reliability

• Drive localization, alternate sourcing, and risk mitigation strategies
  
  

Process, Systems & Governance

• Overhaul procurement processes to improve speed, transparency, and governance

• Drive adoption of ERP-led, analytics-driven procurement systems

• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and exception-based management
  
  

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, and Tech teams
  
  

• Act as a strong commercial voice in planning, budgeting, and key decision-making forums
  
  

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop high-performing procurement teams

• Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Experience

• Proven ownership of large-scale end-to-end supply chain procurement operations

• Experience across manufacturing, retail, and corporate sourcing environments

• Exposure to global or multi-country roles
