Senior Analyst

In this role, you will collaborate with the Tax Knowledge Management onshore team to structure and maintain tax-related knowledge content using tools like SharePoint and Power BI. This position demands a combination of technical proficiency, content management expertise, and strong collaboration skills to facilitate knowledge sharing and ongoing process enhancements within the tax practice. Your responsibilities include content sanitization, SharePoint administration, updating training materials, optimizing processes, tagging metadata, supporting SharePoint migration, improving content distribution through digital communication channels, and leveraging generative AI for enhanced efficiency.

•Organize and maintain tax knowledge repositories using SharePoint, ensuring content is logically structured, up-to-date, and properly tagged for easy retrieval by tax professionals.•Conduct audits of OneSearch and Lead Tax Partner Dashboard links to ensure database hygiene•Implement and oversee taxonomy and metadata tagging standards so that documents, guidelines, and precedents can be searched and retrieved efficiently from the knowledge base.•Develop and manage communication channels, including newsletters, internal news vehicles, and MS Teams.•Assist in gathering, curating, and organizing tax-related knowledge materials (such as legislation updates and internal best practices) to support client work and internal projects.•Utilize Power BI and other tools to develop dashboards and generate regular reports on knowledge repository usage, content updates, and knowledge gaps.•Coordinate closely with onshore tax knowledge management teams.   •Provide insights from these reports to support data-driven decision-making within the tax team on monthly basis.•Update distribution lists, generate HR termination reports, and compile data for analysis.•Identify opportunities to improve knowledge management processes, such as automating routine content updates or optimizing the knowledge repository structure.•Work on initiatives that enhance knowledge sharing, reduce manual effort, and improve overall efficiency.•Ensure seamless communication, alignment of knowledge management goals, and timely updates so that offshore colleagues are fully integrated with onshore initiatives and priorities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Management, or a related field.•4-6 years of experience, with at least three years in a knowledge management role within a large multinational or professional services firm.•Hands-on experience with knowledge management and content organization tools.•Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint (for intranet/portal content management) and Power BI (for data analysis and reporting) is required.•Strong analytical skills to interpret usage data and identify trends, coupled with excellent organizational abilities to structure and catalog large volumes of content with attention to detail.•Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Power BI, and metadata tagging.•Strong organizational, project management, and collaboration skills.•Excellent communication skills.•Attention to detail, high degree of organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  

Preferred

•Prior experience managing knowledge repositories and taxonomy structures in SharePoint or similar platforms.•Ability to build and interpret dashboards to analyze content usage, generate reports, and provide insights.•Understanding of tax-related knowledge materials, industry terminology, and regulatory updates.•Experience in metadata tagging, content auditing, and maintaining data integrity.•Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with remote teams.•Ability to streamline workflows, enhance knowledge accessibility, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
