About DE&M Brand Experience capability

The Digital Experience & Marketing (DE&M) function is a robust capability comprising over 100 professionals who support both the US and UK member firms.

Within this broader team, the Brand Experience team supports the KPMG UK member firm, delivering a clear, consistent, and differentiated brand experience across key touchpoints. Funded and supported by the UK firm, the team operates across three strategic pillars: Brand governance, Brand enablement & advice, and Brand consultation. Roles & responsibilities

•Working independently with minimum guidance from the offshore Brand & Risk Manager to ensure all marketing communications are compliant to brand guidelines and uphold the KPMG brand•Develop subject matter expertise on Brand and Marketing Compliance and will be required to attain and maintain Marketing Compliance accreditation as set by the Global Marketing Compliance team•Delivering brand governance through reviews of marketing assets submitted, cater to proper logo requests and asset naming for marketing communication assets developed for KPMG in the UK•Flexibility to meet deadlines and project demands to deliver the desired outputs•Proactive in learning about latest brand trends and sharing with the team•Active participation and contribution during team huddles and team-wide initiatives and activities•Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality, and ethical standards and values•Good attention to detail, problem solving and the ability to grasp complex systems, tools, regulations and guidelines•Develop documentation (SOPs, Guidebook, training decks, etc.) and designing processes and process improvements•Advanced proficiency in brand compliance tools and documentation processes•Ability to independently manage projects and scope including effective brief taking, negotiating deadlines, and creating and communicating timescales•Strong demonstration of conceptual thinking and problem-solving approach in work•Aspirational maturity in the current role - Independently managing/overseeing one’s own projects from start to finish while also acting as a mentor for colleagues in helping them with their work/projects and upskilling•Write effective emails to communicate status, seek information, clarify doubts•Ability to work in fast paced and demanding environment under pressure•Proactiveness in seeking out projects or chargeable tasks from the operating office

Experience and Qualification

•4-6 years (Postgraduates) or 5-7 years (Graduates) of experience in Marketing, brand building or governance role. Must have a solid understanding on brand concepts, digital marketing, stakeholder management and working in a matrix organization with focus on servicing onshore/offshore model•MBA in Marketing (preferred) - Experience in Brand Management (preferred B2B experience), Integrated Marketing Communication, and Brand Campaigns•Good understanding of marketing campaigns aligned with brand vision, driving brand awareness, and stakeholder management 

Essential skills

•Excellent business communication (structuring, writing, speaking and articulation)•Excellent interpersonal skills•Ability to independently manage medium to high complexity projects with multiple deliverables from start to finish•Work independently with minimal guidance from the offshore Brand & Risk Manager, ensuring all marketing communications comply with brand guidelines and uphold the KPMG brand•Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint•Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word•Exposure to GenAI would be advantageous
