We are recruiting for a Senior in the Data analytics team. Working as a Senior in this team, your responsibilities will include:

Critically assessing structured and semi-structured data, identifying issues and inconsistencies that need to be solved before running the analysis

•    Performing D&A audit procedures using appropriate tools – primarily, Alteryx Designer

•    Presenting the analysis results using MS PowerBI visualisation technology and MS Excel

•    Preparing documentation of D&A work and deliverables for use by audit teams

Stakeholder management, including but not limited to:

•    regular dialogue with audit teams and management to manage expectations on deliverables;

•    interpret D&A output to audit teams to enable them to fully understand the reports; and

•    Developing and implementing best practice to ensure that ‘quality’ is embedded within all activities performed

•    Building and managing excellent relationships across a range of engagements

•    Developing internal networks and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues across KPMG

•    Working closely with audit methodology teams to ensure proposed solutions and delivered outputs are consistent with our regulator’s demands and the firm’s quality standards

•    During the quieter season, designing and testing new audit tools for next season’s deployment

Educational qualifications

•Experience in developing and implementing effective data solutions and or strategies to make more effective use of data delivery of data analytics related capabilities and a recognised relevant qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent qualifications) Additional certifications (if any)•Intermediate to advanced skills in Alteryx Designer

Work experience

•5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm
