Job Description

Job Summary: We seek an experienced Structural Engineer with 6-8 years of expertise in designing buildings per Eurocodes, supporting international projects in Industrial & Infrastructure sectors, with a focus on the Swedish market. The ideal candidate should excel in structural design, understanding European codes, and be proactive in project ownership and client collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures, emphasizing safety and sustainability.
• Develop and review structural models, calculations, and drawings.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings with global teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead small project team from India, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and Swedish regulations.
• Support digital design delivery adhering to Ramboll project standards.
• Manage project deliverables and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 6-8 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Eurocodes and structural analysis software (e.g., FEM Strusoft, Autodesk Robot, IDEA StatiCa, Tekla Structural Designer, STAAD Pro, ETABS) and working knowledge of Revit, Tekla, BIM Workflows & collaboration platforms like ACC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, with strong ownership and initiative.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Swedish projects and local regulations.
• Knowledge of Timber and Pre-cast Concrete Design would be a plus.
• Familiarity with digital delivery tools (e.g., Dynamo, Grasshopper).
• Understanding of sustainable, low-carbon structural design.
