Preparation of technical proposal for NDMA Funds -Preparation of detailed project proposal for flood mitigation programs with a budget of Rs. 200 crores, ensuring alignment with the guidelines of the NDMA.

Nature-Based Solutions-Design and implement sustainable approaches like Stormwater Drainage Management, sponge zones, permeable pavements, and groundwater recharge measures to manage surface runoff effectively.

Develop DRR and Climate Adaptation Frameworks-Draft policies, action plans, and guidelines for disaster risk management and climate change adaptation.

Mainstreaming Climate Adaptation- Integrate DRR and climate adaptation into urban and regional planning, infrastructure design, and development projects.

Risk-Informed Guidelines / Policy Advocacy- Engage with stakeholders to prioritize resilience in  Guidelines / policy decisions.

Hazard Mapping and Vulnerability Analysis- Conduct assessments to identify disaster-prone areas (flood areas in the city)  and populations vulnerable to climate change impacts.

Database Management Systems- Develop and maintain a centralized data repository for disaster events, climate trends, and response measures.

Any graduate/ postgraduate with B.Tech./MBA/ PGDM/ M.Sc in Disaster Management /Urban Planning/ Environmental Engineer/Planner (or Equivalent/ Relevant Degree) with experience between 3-10 years and have working experience in the field of flood management.
