Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant _Delivery Manager-MSD AX  365  

The Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant SCM will be responsible for providing expert-level functional support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement within the client’s Dynamics Supply Chain environment. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Microsoft support to ensure business continuity, performance optimization, and user satisfaction across all deployed modules. 

The Delivery Manager will own end-to-end delivery of large-scale Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain programs across implementation, rollouts, upgrades, and managed services. This role requires a strong blend of ERP domain depth, program governance, stakeholder management, and financial ownership, ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery across global engagements. 

Key Responsibilities      

1. Delivery & Program Management 

• Own end-to-end delivery of Dynamics AX / D365 F&O programs (implementation, global rollout, optimization, AMS). 

• Manage multi-workstream ERP delivery covering Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Commerce, and Integrations. 

• Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management KPIs. 

• Drive release planning, cutover strategy, go-live readiness, and hypercare stabilization. 

2. Client & Stakeholder Management 

• Act as the single point of accountability for clients and internal leadership. 

• Manage CXO-level stakeholders (CFO, CIO, COO) and business process owners. 

• Lead governance forums: SteerCos, status reviews, risk & issue escalation. 

• Build long-term client trust and support account growth and renewals. 

3. ERP & Solution Oversight 

• Provide delivery leadership for AX 2012 to D365 upgrade programs. 

• Oversee solution design across: 

• Finance (R2R, P2P, O2C) 

• Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Planning 

• Warehousing & Transportation 

• ISV solutions, EDI, Logic Apps, Azure integrations 

• Ensure alignment with Microsoft Sure Step / FastTrack / Agile methodologies. 

4. Team & Vendor Management 

• Lead large onshore-offshore teams (Functional, Technical, Data, Integration, Testing). 

• Drive capacity planning, utilization, performance management, and mentoring. 

• Manage SI partners, ISVs, and third-party vendors. 

• Enable smooth knowledge transition and support takeovers. 

5. Financial & Commercial Ownership 

• Own program P&L, revenue forecasting, margin management, and billing milestones. 

• Manage change requests, contract compliance, and risk to margin. 

• Support pre-sales, solutioning, estimations, and client proposals. 

6. Risk, Compliance & Quality 

• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, data, integration, and compliance risks. 

• Ensure audit-ready documentation and SOX-compliant delivery practices. 

• Drive continuous improvement using delivery metrics and root cause analysis. 

• Experience with  in Dynamics AX / D365 delivery leadership. 

• Hands-on experience delivering AX 2009 / AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 F&O programs. 

• Strong understanding of ERP end-to-end business processes. 

• Proven experience managing large global ERP programs 

• Expertise in data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support. 

Qualifications we seek in you!  

Minimum Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, or related discipline. 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills  

• Microsoft Dynamics certifications (AX / D365 F&O). 

• PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Agile certifications. 

• Experience in manufacturing, retail, CPG, logistics, or process industries. 

• Exposure to Azure, Power Platform, LCS, DevOps, and security/compliance frameworks.
