Inviting applications for the role of  Senior Principal Consultant – Sr. Informatica IDMC Data Engineer  

We are looking for a Senior Informatica IDMC Data Engineer to support day-to-day data platform run operations. The role focuses on ensuring data pipelines, integrations, and services built on Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) run reliably, securely, and consistently in production environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support L2 run services for data platforms and pipelines built using Informatica IDMC 

• Monitor data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and data freshness 

• Perform incident investigation and resolution, including root cause analysis 

• Assist in production support (L1–L3 coordination) for data-related issues 

• Execute and validate backup, recovery, and failover processes 

• Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management 

• Support deployment, configuration, and environment management activities 

• Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and SOPs 

• Collaborate with cloud, platform, and data teams to ensure system stability 

• Ensure data availability, reliability, and basic security compliance 

Must-Have Skills 

• Basic to intermediate experience with Informatica IDMC (Cloud Data Integration, Application Integration, or Data Engineering) 

• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT concepts, and scheduling 

• Experience or exposure to data operations / production support 

• Monitoring and troubleshooting of batch jobs and data workflows 

• Knowledge of ITIL concepts (incident, problem, change management) 

• Basic understanding of backup, recovery, and data availability 

• SQL fundamentals for data validation and troubleshooting 

• Good documentation and communication skills 

Nice-to-Have Skills 

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP – preferably hybrid cloud landing zones) 

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools 

• Understanding of SRE principles (automation, runbooks, self-healing) 

• Awareness of FinOps / cost optimization basics 

• Knowledge of enterprise data hubs, source-to-target data flows 

• Basic scripting (Python, Shell) for operational automation 

• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
